ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Darton State College held an Adult Learner Open House tonight for students enrolling in the summer or fall semesters.

School officials are helping students 25-years and older complete paperwork and find out about financial aid and courses. They say returning to school can be intimidating for adult learners.

"Sometimes it's difficult for students to juggle home life, school life and the professional life. So, we want them to know about the resources that we have here at Darton and helping them be successful," said Stefane Raulerson.

The school will hold a college goal Georgia day event next Tuesday from 4 to 6:30 to help those students complete their financial aid applications.
