The Arizona State University women's basketball team (22-9, 11-7 Pac-12) earned a No. 9 seed in the South Bend Regional and will open up NCAA Tournament play against the No. 8 seed Vanderbilt (18-12, 7-9 SEC) on Saturday at 11 a.m. EST at Savage Arena in Toledo, Ohio.
The winner of the ASU-Vanderbilt game will play the winner of the matchup between No. 1 seed Notre Dame and No. 16 seed Robert Morris University.
The Sun Devils are making their 12th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament, the ninth under head coach Charli Turner Thorne.
