STEM day kicks off at Freedom Way Elementary

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - Freedom Park Elementary school students spent Friday learning all about stem; science, technology, engineering and math.

Companies like Home Depot visited the school to teach the kids to build.

Fort Gordon Engineers, Plant Vogtle and UGA pharmaceuticals were also there to talk about what they do the in fields of math and science.

Teachers say they want the kids to get ahead and know all their options for the future.
