Dothan man arrested in child solicitation investigation

DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) -

The Dothan Police Department has arrested a man in connectionwith a child solicitation investigation.

After a brief investigation, police arrested 42-year-oldRodney Reese, on Wednesday, when he arrived at a designated location where he thought he was meeting a 14-year-old female.

Investigators say that on March 6, Reese allegedly begancommunicating through a social website with a Dothan Police Officer he thought to be a 14-year-old female.  Reeseallegedly stated in the conversation that he wanted to perform sexual acts tothe 14-year-old female.

Reese was arrested and charged with electronic solicitationof a child and is being held on bond set at $75,000.
