Aiken County deputies are looking for a man who they say shot another man earlier this month.
Christopher Lamont Thomas, 31, is accused of shooting 44-year-old James Milton around 3:15 a.m. on March 8, according to the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said Thomas got into a dispute with his live-in girlfriend at 145 Dudley Drive.
He then left, deputies said, returned with a gun and shot Milton. Milton then shot back.
Thomas and Milton were both transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center.
Investigators said they determined that Thomas was the aggressor.
Thomas is wanted on arrest warrants of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony.
Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Thomas, can call the sheriff's office at 803-648-6811 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
