DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

A woman was arrested on Wednesday after officers pulled her over and found cocaine, Decatur police reported.

Officers said they initiated a vehicle stop after a woman ran a stop sign. Police said they made contact with the driver, Shelby Wallace, and after further investigation, found a quantity of cocaine and prescription pills.

Wallace was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of prescription drugs and running a stop sign. She was booked into Decatur City Jail and later transferred to Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $3,500 bond.
