MARTINEZ, GA (WFXG) - The driver involved in a Saturday crash at a Martinez Dollar General store has been charged for the incident.
Roshana Lequisha Payne, 27, is facing charges of DUI, reckless driving, and having an open container of alcohol in the passenger area of the vehicle, according to Columbia County Sheriff's Captain Steve Morris.
Three people were injured during the incident off of Baston Road. Officials said Payne's vehicle plowed into a cash register, severely injuring the cashier's leg. A witness told authorities the cashier was temporarily pinned beneath the vehicle.
Payne suffered minor injuries.
