Three people are injured after a car crashed into a Dollar General on Baston Rd. around 7 p.m. Saturday night.
Three customers have minor injuries and a cashier suffered significant injuries in the crash.
The victims are being treated for broken bones and lacerations from the crash.
Columbia County Sheriff's Deputies and Georgia State Patrol troopers are investigating. The driver of the car, Roshana Payne, is being questioned and charges are pending.
DeeDee DeMent drove by the accident and says she couldn't believe what happened.
"I was just driving by and saw the fire trucks and police cars and of course I looked over to see if I could tell what was going on. When I looked there was a car in the Dollar General just sitting there where the cash register was. I couldn't believe it could fit in there and I just don't understand how it could have happened," she says.
