Columbia County debris removal crews are still working to clean up downed trees and limbs from the recent ice storm.
As of Thursday morning, crews had removed a total of 70,342 cubic yards of vegetative debris and cut down more than 1,200 trees and limbs hanging in the right of way.
The county is divided into zones for debris removal. Zones 11 and 22 are complete, Columbia County EMA Director Pam Tucker said.
Crews were working in zones one through 15, as well as 20, 21, 24, 25 and the city of Grovetown.
