Sylvania Twp. Police looking for gas station thief

SYLVANIA TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Sylvania Township Police are asking for the public's help finding a man they say robbed a local gas station.

The robbery occurred at a Clark gas station on Alexis last Thursday. The suspect was caught on surveillance video.

Police say a white male in his twenties walked into the station around 11 p.m. and demanded cash. He is described as about 6 feet tall and was wearing a black jacket, dark pants, a camouflage ball cap and a black bandana.

The man appeared to have a gun in his pocket when he demanded the money. He took off with less than $200.

Anyone with information on this suspect is urged to call the police department at 419-882-2055.
