A 20-year-old man accused of killing his friend in an 'accidental shooting' pleaded not guilty in court Friday, according to the Richmond County Clerk of Court office.

Dominique Sullivan, 20, was indicted on Feb. 4 on charges of involuntary manslaughter, possession of a firearm during a crime and possession of a firearm by a first offender.

Richmond County deputies said Sullivan accidentally shot his friend, 18-year-old Delarrion Smith, in the chest on Nov. 10, 2013 when the two were playing around with a gun.

EMS transported Smith to Georgia Regents Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

Sullivan also pleaded not guilty Friday to charges in connection with the armed robbery of a man he met through Craigslist
