SC BlueCross RV to stop in Aiken to address healthcare options

AIKEN, SC (WFXG) -

If you're still looking for answers when it comes to enrolling in health insurance, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina wants to help.

The company's mobile unit will stop in Aiken on Feb. 27 to provide people the opportunity to ask questions about and sign up for health insurance before open enrollment ends on March 31. 

Under the Affordable Care Act, people who don't purchase coverage on or before March 31 will face a tax penalty equal to 1 percent of their 2014 household income. 

The BlueCross BlueShield RV will be at Doctors Care at 850 Aiken Mall Blvd. from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 27.
