$1M Powerball prize sold in Chandler

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A lucky person who bought a lottery ticket in Chandler is cashing on a piece of the Powerball prize.

The Arizona Lottery announced Friday that the $1 million Powerball second prize winning ticket sold in Chandler has been claimed.

The $425 million Powerball jackpot was drawn on Feb. 19.

A spokesperson with the Arizona Lottery Phoenix Office said this is the state's 30th $1 million Powerball second prize winning ticket.

According to the Arizona Lottery, your overall odds of winning a cash prize are approximately one in 31.8 and winning the Powerball jackpot is one in 175 million.
