AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - The Salvation Army is continuing to help feed Georgia residents without power.
They've partnered with the Red Cross to help serve food at shelters that have been set up across the CSRA.
The Salvation Army is serving about 21,000 meals a day that include breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Major Tony Perez of the Salvation Army says they organization will continue to feed people that need help while power is being restored
"The numbers are going down very rapidly which we're very thankful for, but we're still here meeting the needs for those who come out to the shelters and that contact the EOC to help us to let them know they're in need," he says.
