Columbia Co. extends due date for water bills

The due date for Columbia County Water Utility bills has been extended to Monday, Feb. 17.

The bills were originally due by Saturday, Feb. 15, but county officials extended the due date because of the winter storm.

Customers who pay their water bills by 8 a.m. on Tuesday Feb. 18 will not be charged a late fee.

Payments may be made at the office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17 or placed in a water utility drop box between now and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The Water Utility payment drop boxes are located at the Water Utility Office at 2140 William Few Parkway in Grovetown and at 4325 Evans-to-Locks Road in Evans.
