1 arrested, 2 wanted in armed robbery, shooting

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Richmond County deputies arrested one man and are looking for two others in connection with the armed robbery and shooting of another man Friday evening. 

Kevin Hanna was arrested Tuesday and charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to the sheriff's office. 

Marquese Parrish and Darrell Hill are still wanted. 

The victim, Tyrell McKie, told deputies he asked someone for a ride home, according to an incident report. The person told McKie he would give him a ride after he used the restroom.

Three men then came to the vehicle, drove the victim to Windsor Spring Road, robbed him and shot him in the leg, according to the incident report. 

Warrants are on file for Parrish for armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. 

Warrants are on file for Hill for armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

All three suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on the location of Parrish or Hill is asked to call the sheriff's office at 706-821-1020 or dispatch at 706-821-1080. Callers may remain anonymous.
