Evans Towne Center Farmers Market returns for second year

The Evans Towne Center Farmers Market will return in March for a second year.

Organizers said last year it was a huge success, so they are bringing it back.

The farmers market will be held on Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and customers will be able to buy from local farmers and get all their questions answered from them.

"A lot of good seasonal produce will be there," said Kim Hines, the director of Augusta Locally Grown nonprofit. "We only work with local farmers, who are committed to all natural practices and so, of course, this season, we bring kale and shard and broccoli and all those nice leafy greens growing in the winter."

The Evans Towne Center Farmers Market will begin on March 20.
