Author will share genealogy journey

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Author Michael Henderson will share his genealogy journey on Feb. 13.

Henderson lecture will be based on his book "Got proof: My Genealogical Journey through the use of Documentation.'  He will share the tools he used to prove his creole ancestry.

The lecture is being sponsored by the Foundation for Historical Louisiana. It will be held at the Old Governor's Mansion, 502 North Boulevard, in Baton Rouge.

The event is free for members and $10 for guests.

A reception will be held afterwards.
