The Memphis Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 16-year-old in critical condition.
Police say the teen was at a corner store on Williams Avenue after 10 p.m. Friday when he was shot in the mouth.
The teen told MPD a male dressed in dark clothes walked up to him, stole his cell phone then shot him.
The boy was taken to the MED.
Officials have not released his name.
