The search continues for a missing Waynesboro woman with Alzheimer's

Arletha Diane Bennett, 77, was last seen at about 9 p.m. Thursday in the Herman Lodge Boulevard area, according to the police department.

The Waynesboro Police Department and other agencies will conduct another search Friday for Bennett. Anyone who wants to volunteer should meet with the on-scene commanders, Lt. T. Jackson and Lt. D. Hannah, at 10 a.m.

The meeting location will be at the park on Ninth Street across from Southern Bank. Police are asking volunteers not to search on their own. All volunteers must sign in at the command center.

For questions contact Lt. Jackson, Investigator Rodriguez or Lt. Hannah at 706-554-8029. Anyone who plans to bring an ATV or horses should contact Lt. Jackson first.
