Augusta YDC director resigns

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

The latest director at the Department of Juvenile Justice's Youth Development Campus in Augusta has announced his departure. 

Cedric Taylor will leave Jan. 31 to be a warden with the Georgia Department of Corrections. He has been leading the facility for the last year.

Taylor was the fifth director in two years, after reported violence on campus and an inmate escape.

No word on who will replace Taylor when he leaves.
