NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (WFXG) -

A Warrenville woman is behind bars after North Augusta Public Safety officers said they found methamphetamine and other drugs in her car during a search.

Marsha Suzanne Busbee, 33, was arrested just before 2 a.m. Monday at The Groves apartment complex in North Augusta, according to an incident report.

Officers responded to a call about a suspicious car with a woman driving and a man in the passenger seat, according to the report. The victim told dispatch that the car turned into The Groves.

When officers arrived, they located the car and asked the driver, Busbee, and the passenger to step out so that they could search the car, according to the report. They found two glass tubes used to smoke meth, a syringe with a clear liquid that tested positive as meth and three plastic bags that contained a crystal-like substance that also tested positive as meth.

Officers also found a pill container with various types of pills, more than $600, a scale and a clear container with a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana, according to the report.

Busbee was charged with simple possession of marijuana, according to the report. Officers also obtained warrants for trafficking meth, three counts of possession of a schedule IV substance and three counts of possession of a schedule II substance.

Busbee is being held at the Aiken County Detention Center.
