Hephzibah store sells winning lottery ticket worth $416K

HEPHZIBAH, GA (WFXG) -

A Fantasy 5 ticket worth more than $400,000 was sold in Hephzibah this month, according to Georgia Lottery officials.

Kangaroo Express #3263, located at 4101 Windsor Springs Road, sold a lucky Fantasy 5 ticket worth $416,454 from the Jan. 3 drawing.

Ulysses Mays of Hephzibah is the winner, matching all five winning numbers, lottery officials said. He claimed his prize Jan. 9 at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Augusta.

Mays is one of two winners each to win the jackpot prize from the Jan. 3 Fantasy 5 drawing.

The second winning ticket was purchased in Tifton.

Winning numbers from the drawing were: 11-15-25-26-31.
