Deputies seek men suspected of stealing beer from Evans Walmart

EVANS, GA (WFXG) -

Columbia County deputies are looking for two men who they say stole beer, coffee makers and a mixer from the Walmart in Evans.

The men entered the store around noon on Dec. 9, filled a shopping cart with five 30-packs of Budweiser beer, five 30-packs of Budlight beer, two Keurig coffee makers and a hand mixer, and walked out without paying, according to an incident report.

Video surveillance shows the two men walk in together, according to the report. One was wearing a tan jacket and one was wearing a blue jacket.

The video shows the man wearing the tan jacket walked out of the store first, according to the report. The man wearing the blue jacket followed, pushing the shopping cart filled with the items.

The men were driving a silver Buick Lesabre with S.C. tag number 649OED, according to the report.

Anyone with information about the identities or whereabouts of the two men can call the Columbia County Sheriff's Office at 706-541-1044 or 706-541-2800.
