This cold front should be no surprise to anyone...however, the temperatures tomorrow morning as well as Tuesday Morning, should be very, very cold...in the teens. Temperatures will fall very, very quickly overnight into the mid to upper teens north and central areas and upper teens to lower 20s southern areas. If the winds become light/variable, they could fall even faster and farther. By Monday afternoon, high temperatures should rise back only into the lower 30s, then right back into the teens on Tuesday Morning. These cold temperatures are some of the coldest we have seen in several years. In some locations, temperatures will remain below freezing for 40-42 hours.

Protect the 3 P's....

People... Please make sure that everyone is protected from this extreme cold.

Pets... Bring them indoors. If that is not possible, make sure they have plenty of food and a place to escape from the cold.

Pipes... These temperatures will likely burst exposed pipes. Make sure they are wrapped/insulated properly during this extended period of below freezing temperatures.
