The second largest lottery jackpot in history will be up for grabs Tuesday night and it's larger than it was a few weeks ago.
The Mega Millions Jackpot is truly millions as the amount has risen to $635 million and people all over, including in the CSRA, are hoping for a shot at the winnings.
There are nearly 259 million number combinations in play for what is the second-largest prize ever.
The record $656 million Mega Millions jackpot in 2012 sold 26 million tickets an hour the day of the March 30 drawing.
While this number may not be as high as the record, people in the CSRA have still went out and bought lottery tickets all trying for a chance to bring home the bacon.
"Me and my family, we've been talking about it all week and weekend," said Marie Jenkins who purchased a lottery ticket Tuesday afternoon. "Everyone is really excited about the jackpot. This is one of the highest jackpots there's been and I can do a lot for my family and for the community with that money."
