Evansville Police are investigating a holdup at a gas station on the southeast side.

It happened at Thorntons on S. Green River Road around 3:00 Thursday morning.

Officers say a man came into the store, showed a gun and demanded money from the clerk.  He put the cash in a plastic bag and ran off.

Police say the suspect had a black mask covering his face and the hood of his jacked pulled over his head.
