AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Construction closures are scheduled on three Augusta roads this week, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

One lane on Wrightsboro Road between Flowing Wells Road and Maddox Road will be closed for paving between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

One lane on each side of Laney Walker Boulevard will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Officials also say one lane on each side of Deans Bridge Road at the I-520 overpass will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes if possible. GDOT officials also ask drivers to use caution, reduce their speed and be alert to changing traffic conditions in all work zones.
