EVANS, GA (WFXG) -

Columbia County deputies are looking for a man they say stole a tip jar from a Japanese steakhouse in Evans.

The man entered Toki Japanese Steakhouse at 4534 Washington Rd. just before 2 p.m. on Nov. 18 and was seated at the sushi bar, according to an incident report.

A waiter brought the man water and a menu and then walked away to help another customer, according to the report. The man walked out with a tip jar that contained about $50 in cash.

Deputies believe the man in the surveillance photo is the man who stole the tip jar.

Anyone with information about the man's identity can call the Columbia County Sheriff's Office at 706-541-1042.
