DOUGLAS, AZ (CBS5) -

Federal officers seized more than $286,000 worth of marijuana in three separate weekend incidents.

Customs and Border Protection officers at the Port of Douglas said the total weight of the pot was 572 pounds.

On Sunday, a 52-year-old Douglas woman was taken into custody after officers discovered nearly 35 pounds of marijuana in the spare tire of her Chevrolet Blazer. The pot was worth more than $17,000

A 33-year-old Douglas woman was arrested Friday after officers found more than 87 pounds of marijuana, valued at nearly $44,000, inside her truck.

Also on Friday, a 34-year-old female Mexican national was referred for inspection of her vehicle as she attempted to enter the United States. A CBP narcotics detection dog alerted to the presence of drugs throughout the vehicle.

Officers removed 320 packages of marijuana weighing more than 450 pounds and worth an estimated $225,000 from the woman's vehicle.

All drugs and vehicles were seized. The three suspects were turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
