Posted: Updated:
SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Smith County crews have closed County Road 35, Lavender Road between County Road 492 and Spring Club Lake Road because of multiple trees and power lines that have fallen in the roadway.

Oncor and tree cutting crews are working to clear the road. Motorists can use Texas College Road, FM 14 or 69 Mineola Highway as alternate routes between I-20 and the north side of Tyler.

We will let you know when the road is re-opened.
