Dispatch: Five cars involved in Pacolet wreck

PACOLET, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg County dispatchers said five vehicles were involved in a wreck near Pacolet Tuesday morning.

The wreck happened about 7:30 a.m. along South Pine Street/U.S. 176 at West Main Street near Southport Road in Pacolet, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Dispatchers said there was reports of multiple injuries and that the northbound lane of 176 was blocked.

FOX Carolina sent a crew to the scene where they said part of the road was blocked by emergency crews cleaning up the wreck and towing away vehicles.
