AUM: alleged sex assault victim yet to decide on pressing charges

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Auburn University Montgomery officials continue their investigation of a reported sexual assault on campus.

Director of University Relations Marla Vickers says the alleged assault happened in the early morning hours of Sunday at Warhawk Hall.

 

Officials are referring to the case as an "isolated incident" and say the victim knows the alleged perpetrator.

The victim has not yet determined if she will press charges. No one is in custody at this time.

Vickers says AUM is currently reviewing policies and procedures to make sure there is a good police presence on campus.
