SC man charged in Barnwell club shooting

BARNWELL COUNTY, SC (WFXG) -

An Allendale County man is charged in connection with an August shooting that injured two people at a Barnwell club, according to the S.C. Law Enforcement Division.

Benjamin Badger III, 28, of Martin, S.C. is charged with two counts of attempted murder, a felony that carries a penalty of up to 30 years in prison without parole, according to SLED. 

Badger is accused of shooting several times at a Blue Crown Victoria at Big T nightclub on Marlboro Avenue in Barnwell on August 10, according to an arrest warrant. One victim was shot in the left shoulder, and the other victim was shot in the hand.

Badger was booked at the Barnwell County Detention Center.
