Spindale police said a 14-year-old was arrested Sunday night after a 16-year-old was found shot at a home on Johnson Street.
Police said the suspect arrived at the Johnson Street home with a shotgun and words were spoken among the suspect, the victim and several other juveniles inside the home. The suspect then tried to break down the front door, but after failing, police said the suspect then shoved the shotgun through a window and began firing at those inside.
One victim was shot in his left arm and was treated at Mission Hospital, police said.
The juvenile suspect fled the scene on foot but his father later returned him to the residence and turned him over to officers, along with the firearm, police said. The juvenile suspect was charged with attempted murder and is in custody.
