Your Week in Viral Videos: The good ol' days and an ode to cookies

(RNN) - Every now and then we get a kick in the pants that reminds us how far we have come. Translation: Lots of stuff happens to remind us we're getting older.

That apparently happened to one man when he heard Blockbuster was shutting down the rest of its flagging franchises.

His conscience drove him to return VHS rentals - that's right, baby, VHS - which by the way, were not rewound and dated back to 1989. Late fees will kill ya, every time.

At least he had good taste. Honey, I Shrunk the Kids is a timeless flick.

Cookie rapper

If you think you have a raging sweet tooth, then you should meet the Cookie Monster of the rap business.

You may call him Chip Chocolate.

The only thing smoother than his flow is the milk he pours all over the dancing girls in his video - and on his freshly baked goods, of course.

Language battle: Fox vs. farmer

The same genius who brought the world agri-themed parodies of Blurred Lines and Thrift Shop has a question to ask you: What Does the Farmer Say?

As a side note, it has to be frustrating to know that your work affects so much of the world, and yet it often goes unappreciated - kind of like the hard work I put into Your Week in Viral Videos.

Like me, farmers have internal struggles that they express with a language all their own.

If children ran the world

Don't lie - you have days when you just wish you could act childish and hold everyone else accountable for what you do.

Or maybe every day is like that for you. If so, get a haircut and go look for a job.

For the rest of us, BuzzFeed gives us a glimpse into what it looks like to revert to childhood.

Roger Baker had no friends or family to take him to see his wife. When his wife had fallen previously, he had waved strangers down in the street and paid them $10 to help pick her up.
