    According to the sheriff's office, a man walked into the store just after 11 a.m., presented a gun, and demanded cash. He then reportedly shot the clerk twice and fled the scene.

    On Sunday, August 12, 2018, at approximately midnight, Deputy Lamberth of the Road Patrol Division of the Burke County Sheriff's Office pulled over a gray Nissan Altima going 78 mph in a 55 mph zone on the Highway 25 Bypass.  As the officer approached the vehicle, a strong odor of marijuana was detected coming from inside and he called for backup. EMANUEL COUNTY, GA (WFXG) -

The Emanuel County Sheriff's Office and Twin City Police Dept. are asking for the public's help in finding a man who went missing Oct. 31.

Tony Lee Steele, 49, was last seen in Twin City at 9 p.m. Oct. 31, according to the sheriff's office.

He has been known to travel to Vero Beach, FL, to visit relatives, but has not made contact with family members, according to the sheriff's office. They said he hasn't been taking the medication he needs for a health condition since he went missing.

He has black hair and brown eyes. He's 5' 10" and 175 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, faded jeans and white sneakers.
