The Chesterfield County Police have made an arrest related to a series of vehicle break-ins in the Koyoto neighborhood in Chester, where multiple items – including a handgun – were stolen.
Police arrested a 23-year-old male in connection with the ongoing investigation, and the suspect has been charged with several crimes, including felony destruction of personal property, four misdemeanors, two petty larceny charges, and two charges of entering or setting a vehicle in motion.
Additional charges may be pending, and it is unknown whether police were searching for other suspects.
Many of the vehicles affected were unlocked at the time, and items stolen included a variety of electronics, money, cell phones, and the aforementioned handgun.
