TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Neighbors said that they saw Tucson Police entering and leaving a southwest side home Thursday morning.  TPD said it arrested Frank Vasquez on ten counts sexual exploitation of a minor for downloading child pornography.  And, TPD said that a child was also in the home where he was staying.

"This individual was staying with another family, the child I believe was nineteen months old, there's no evidence at all that the child was in any danger, however, we did look into that possibility and we did look into the possibility that there could be others involved in the home," said TPD Sgt. Chris Widmer.

"I don't have any small children but I still, it's somebody that you still need to be afraid of," neighbor Susan Phillips said.

TPD's Internet Crimes Against Children Unit investigated a tip it received back in September from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.  Police said that arrests like these could prevent more severe crimes.

"In this case he's downloading it and watching it, which is, not only against the law but it's something that we worry about just from research that's been done in the past of people going hands-on that are willing to watch this type of material," Widmer said.
