Police: Drunk man hits 3 cars leaving Hooters, flipping 1
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Police say a man leaving the Hooters on Market St. caused significant damage to other vehicles in the area on Tuesday night.
According to Lt. Blanton with the Wilmington Police Department, a man got into his car and backed into another car in the parking lot. The man then drove out of the parking lot and hit two other cars, flipping one over.
The suspect was arrested and charged with DWI and hit and run.
Police say one person was transported with what is believed to be a non-life threatening injury. The name of the suspect has not been released.
