Harlem, Grovetown election results

Grovetown City Council - 2 seats

Lee Briggs (I) - 26.46%

Vickie Keith Cook - 32.68%

Sylvia C. Martin - 40.47%

Harlem City Council - 2 seats

Danny Bellavance - 0%

Rudolph Dixon (I) - 37.5%

John A. Thigpen (I) - 62.5%

Lee Ann Meyer - 0%

Harlem Mayor

Bobby Culpepper - 100%

 

Residents in Harlem and Grovetown are heading to the polls Tuesday to elect city council members.

Four people are running for two seats on Harlem City Council: incumbents John Thigpen and Rudolph Dixon, and newcomers Dan Bellavance and Lee Ann Meyer.

Two seats on Grovetown City Council are also up for election: the seat currently held by Lee Briggs and the seat held by Bruce Stoddard. Stoddard is not running for re-election.

Briggs will face challengers Vickie Cook and Sylvia Martin.
