Man walks to store with gunshot wound

TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

The Tift Co. Sheriff's Office is trying to find out how a man in his twenties was shot today.

They say he walked to the parking lot of a convenience store at the intersection of Carpenter Road and Whiddon Mill Road, with a gun shot wound in his side.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Authorities have not released his name, and his condition has not been released.
