USC Aiken's campus got invaded with witches, ghosts and ghouls, all looking for candy.
A great turn out Thursday evening at the campus' trick-or-treat event - held on campus.
Local children got to play games, go through a haunted house and, of course, get candy.
Students said the event was a way to make sure kids stayed safe this Halloween.
"There's a lot of danger out there in the world today and it makes us feel good that they can come here, play games, get candy and make new friends at the same time," said Fredericka Stroud, a senior at USC Aiken.
Organizers said the event was a joint effort among Campus House, resident advisors and Omega Phi Alpha Service Sorority.
