Halloween may be coming to an end but the fair in Columbia County is just beginning.
This is the third fair to hit the CSRA in a matter of weeks and it's the 48th time the Merchants Association has hosted the Columbia County Fair.
The fair is located on the Columbia County fairgrounds on Columbia Rd. in Grovetown.
This year's attractions include a petting zoo, a water show with seals and motorcyclist daredevils.
Organizers said his fair is unique from the other two because a lot of the proceeds go to help local charities and fund scholarships for high school students.
"The is a fundraising project for local charities," said Richard Fender, President of the Merchants Association of Columbia County. "I'm about to give away $18,000 to different charities. We also give $12,500 back to high school students in scholarships."
The Columbia County fair will continue until Saturday, November 9th.
