Deputies investigate suspicious vehicle fire in Warrenville

WARRENVILLE, SC (WFXG) -

Aiken County deputies are investigating a suspicious vehicle fire at a home in Warrenville.

The  vehicle fire started at about 10:40 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 200 block of Verdery Street, deputies said. A witness told deputies the fire was started by a Molotov cocktail.

The witness also told deputies a second Molotov cocktail was found near another vehicle and moved so that a second fire wouldn't start, according to an incident report. 

Investigators are asking anyone with information about this case to call the sheriff's office at 803-648-6811 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
