HEPHZIBAH, GA (WFXG) - A Hephzibah police officer is no longer working for the department after he was charged with driving under the influence.
Hephzibah Police Chief Dwayne Flowers said he fired Michael Dodaro after speaking with the officer who pulled Dodaro over last weekend in Oglethorpe County.
This isn't the first time Dodaro has had a run-in with the law. In March, Dodaro was charged with DUI while he was working as a Richmond County deputy. He resigned in April after the sheriff's office opened an internal investigation.
