Richmond County deputies are looking for two women they say wrote fraudulent checks to an Augusta convenience store.
Janet Blount, 27, and Melissa Ivey, 23, are accused of writing the fraudulent checks on Aug. 8 at Mom and Pop's Convenience Store at 2025 Broad St., according to the sheriff's office.
The sheriff's office has issued felony arrest warrants for Blount and Ivey on charges of negotiating checks knowing information to be false.
Deputies say Blount and Ivey used to live at River Glenn Apartments. Deputies also say they also frequent the Lake Olmsted Homes area.
