Deputies: Burke County teen stabs aunt to death

KEYSVILLE, GA (WFXG) -

A 14-year-old girl is charged with murder after Burke County deputies say she stabbed her aunt to death Monday night.

Deputies say the girl got into an argument with her aunt, Shirley Elaine Bush Mack, 49, at Mack's home on Scott Store Road in Keysville.

The girl is accused of stabbing Mack three times, according to the sheriff's office.

The girl was taken to Burke Medical Center for treatment of cuts on her hands, according to the sheriff's office. She is being held at the Youth Detention Center in Sandersville, Ga.

Deputies say four other children who lived with Mack are now in the custody of the Division of Family and Child Services.
