Auburn upsets No. 7 Texas A&M 45-41

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Auburn Tigers upset the Texas A&M Aggie's 45-41in an impressive game. 

After winning the toss, the Aggie's decided to receive the kick and quickly scored during their first possession of the game.

With ten minutes left in the first quarter, Auburn responded to the Aggie's scoring after 10 plays and 86-yards to tie up the score 7-7. Nick Marshall made the 16-yard touchdown.

After an interception the Tigers pulled ahead of the Aggie's with a field goal. Cody Parkey kicked the 27-yard field goal.

After a back forth match up between the Tigers and Aggie's, Johnny Football injured his arm/shoulder which left the Aggie's wounded and gave the Tigers an advantage. 

Auburn was able to contain the Aggie's from leading despite Maziels effort with a touchdown run of his own. 

Auburn takes the win after holding Texas A&M down to the last seconds of the game.

Sammie Coates' 43-yard TD catch in the third quarter was his fourth career TD reception. He finished with 104 yards receiving for his second career 100-yard receiving game.
 
Tre Mason rushed for 178 yards on 27 carries and one touchdown for his sixth career 100-yard game and third of the season.
 
Nick Marshall ran for 100 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries for his second career 100-yard rushing performance
 
Auburn finished the game with 379 yards rushing to post its third game of the season with 300-plus rushing yards
 
The win was Auburn's first win over a ranked opponent on the road since October 1, 2011 at No. 10 South Carolina. It is the Tigers' second win over a ranked opponent this season after the victory over then No. 24 Ole Miss
