AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) - The Georgia National Guard told Fox 54 plans are in place for the 'what ifs' of Tropical Storm Karen, even with furloughs.
They want the public to know if the storm gets bad, they'll be ready. It all depends on the path of the storm.
Right now, officials say Georgia is looking at heavy rain.
If the roads get bad, if winds pick up or the power is knocked out, people on furlough could be called in immediately.
The only changes for them would be how the plan is activated.
